QUEMA

Cie Jacob Gomez Ruiz

Quema is an intimate journey through purgatory, where two elderly souls, Queralt and Julia, come together to revisit the course of their lives. In this process of self-exploration, they venture into reconstructing crucial moments from alternative perspectives, navigating through different spaces and dimensions of reality.

In the midst of this journey, a melody emerges, carrying them back to their youth. Both decide to dance to it and explore it from an angle they had never considered before, embracing falling and vulnerability.

As they immerse themselves in the exploration of new forms of connection, a fundamental question arises: are they two separate entities, or two facets of the same person, searching for and complementing each other in this passage through purgatory?
